I found some interesting sources for one of my relatives but didn’t see a way to download the page or the book. Is this not functioning yet?

You can download a book by clicking on the “Download PDF” link just above the book viewer. It’s best to right-click on the link and select “Save link as” to save the PDF to your computer.

On your home page, I typed in a name, dates, a relative, and a place and hit search. Nothing happened. No message saying n/a etc.

Not sure why you’re not getting any hits. The site appears to be working for me, and I’m getting feedback from others that it is working for them. I’m curious to find out the problem. Does it work if you try a different browser?

I have the same issue with Firefox and Chrome browsers. Clicking the search button does nothing.

Hmm, it’s working fine for me. In Chrome, if you right-click on the page, select Inspect, then click on the Console tab, then do a search, do you see any red text? If so, if you’ll send it to me I’ll see if I can figure out why search isn’t working for you.

Thanks for the reply. Looks like it’s due to javascript trackers on your website. I haven’t changed or added anything to my browsers and this issue was not previously a problem.

I do not see any activity on your site for over a year now. The site still works, so I assume it is. Are you getting enough donations?

Yes, the site is still up, and we’re getting enough donations to nearly cover our hosting costs (yay!). I’ve been busy working on other things for the past year, but I hope to get time to come back to GenGophers and add more books next year.
